Our good friends at Westsyde Connection have decided to fight back against the scooter epidemic that we are currently experiencing. Receive a $50 trade-in on scooters when you buy a complete skateboard over $200. Great idea, more info here. I wonder what is going to happen to any scooters that are traded in?

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Morgan Campbell for his Shred Plank blog last week. We talked about The Zine, being trapped in lifts and how Amnesia was born.
Morgan has been involved in pushing Australian skateboarding for as long as I can remember. Whether that be as a professional skateboarder, film maker, magazine editor, blogger, nomad, Australian ambassador and the countless other titles you could give him. He truly is a dedicated plank shredder in every sense.
Here is a recent clip of Morgan from The 4 Skateboard Company.

Back on the 1st of August this year Michael “Davo” Davidson held a game of skate at Moore Park netball courts. What was originally planned as a mellow catchup with a few friends while Davo was visiting from Japan turned into a 90′s skate renuion of epic proportions. More from Teagues over at The Zine here.

I recently picked up issue 2 of Staple Magazine which is a Perth based free magazine edited by Morgan Campbell. Go get it (or demand for it) from your local skate shop. They have a clean looking site here which has some good content for all.
